Illustration allows me to take the training wheels off. While my logo and collateral designs are often directed by a more conventional brief, I focus on color and hand drawn elements in both my commissioned and spec illustrations. I love to play with line work and contrast and find inspiration from my environment, especially the colors and textures of New Orleans.
Wedding Suite
Featuring standard typefaces as well as hand-drawn text and illustrations developed in Procreate, our wedding suite comprised invitations, a second-line handkerchief, directional signage, and more.

Food Truck Stickers
These laptop stickers were designed for student giveaways, featuring original vector drawings of the university’s food trucks and carts, displaying both original and pre-existing branding.

Parleaux Beer Labels
Designed on spec for local brewery Parleaux Beer Lab, this label for a yet-to-be-named beer features hand-drawn illustrations of real New Orleans shotgun homes, including the blue and green Parleaux building in the center. These illustrations were drawn individually in Procreate and vectorized, along with the hand lettering and the green frame that echoes classic New Orleans wrought-iron balconies. The deep blue and lime green colors throughout anchor the piece in Parleaux’s brand colors.
This spec label centers on a hand-drawn magnolia, featuring clean pen outlines and a softer, more organic pastel interior. This artwork was also drawn in Procreate and imported into Illustrator. Once again, Parleaux’s dark blue is used in the outlines and text.
House Wine Labels
Inspired by our own house in New Orleans, this label incorporates standard typefaces, hand-drawn graphics, and hand lettering. Colors are inspired by the varietals themselves.
