Hi! I’m Kate. I’m a full-time communications professional and part-time graphic designer and digital artist with over a decade of experience in higher ed communications and operations.
In both my writing and my visual art, I consider myself a storyteller — my guiding priority is authentic engagement that meets my audience where they are and makes them feel like a partner in our shared progress. And though my wardrobe is nearly exclusively black, I believe in the power of color to draw focus and create feeling.
When not working, I enjoy running, knitting, listening to Bruce Springsteen, and attempting complicated recipes. While I spend most of my time daydreaming about living in a place with slightly less humidity and slightly more reliable streets, I currently live in New Orleans with my husband and stepdaughters.
